Coventry Rugby is very happy to confirm that Will Biggs has put pen to paper on a new deal, extending his stay at the BPA.
Biggs arrived at Butts Park last summer from Championship rivals, Bedford Blues. The hooker boasted Championship and National One experience following an eye-catching spell at Birmingham Moseley.
Will has impressed throughout the campaign, making 18 appearances across the league and cup. Alongside Jordon Poole and Suva Ma’asi, Will has been part of an incredibly strong collection of hookers, which the club is thrilled to keep hold of.
Alex Rae had this to say on the front rower: “We’re blessed to have three very talented hookers, with Will being one of them. He works incredibly hard every day, has a really good all-round game and most importantly he’s a fantastic person.”
Will was thrilled to extend his stay at the club ahead of the 2023/24 campaign: “I’m really happy to have re-signed for the 23/24 season. It’s a pleasure to be involved in such a great environment, we’re looking forward to keeping the momentum that we’re gathered this season. Can’t wait to see all the Cov faithful back at the BPA next season.”
Everyone at Coventry Rugby is looking forward to seeing more of WIll in the famous Blue and White.
