Coventry Rugby has announced its squad for the last fixture of the 2022/23 season, against old rivals Bedford Blues on Saturday 29th April.

Following last weekend’s victory against Nottingham at the BPA, Alex Rae’s men will travel down to Goldington Road as they look for a final win to cap off an excellent season.

The front row remains unchanged, with Suva Ma’asi packing down at hooker, flanked by Toby Trinder and Ollie Andrews.

In the engine room, Adam Peters will partner James Tyas for one last time, whilst Tom Dodd (6), Josh Bainbridge (7) and Senitiki Nayalo (8) make up the back row.

Evan Mitchell will link up with Will Chudley in a halfback pairing which combines youth with experience, while the Lucas Titherington-Will Rigg axis gets another run-out in the centres.

The matchday XV is rounded out by a back three consisting of the in-form James Martin, Tobi Wilson on the other wing, and Louis Brown at fullback.

Will Biggs, James Kenny and Jake Bridges will all be waiting in the wings to bring some additional firepower to the front row, whilst George Smith and Tom Ball conclude the forward replacements.

In the backs, Will Lane will be looking to make his usual impact off the bench as replacement 9, while Ollie Betteridge and Louis James will provide cover across the centres and the backfield.
