Josh Bainbridge to join Newcastle Falcons

Coventry Rugby can confirm that back row, Josh Bainbridge, will join Premiership side, Newcastle Falcons, ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The powerful back-rower joined Coventry from Championship rivals Jersey Reds prior to the 21/22 campaign, and has since made 44 appearances for the club. An ever-dependable member of Alex Rae’s pack, Bainbridge’s experience has been invaluable to a young Coventry side.

As yet another Coventry talent is given the chance to play Premiership rugby, everyone at Coventry would like to wish Josh all the very best in his new adventure up north.
