Senitiki Nayalo of Coventry Rugby was cited for dangerous play in a ruck or maul, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.20, for an incident during the Premiership Rugby Cup game against Harlequins on 16 September 2023.
His case was heard by an independent disciplinary panel, chaired by Matthew Weaver KC sitting with James Wilson and Matthew Hearsum, on 19 September. The player admitted foul play and was banned for two weeks, which will be reduced to one week if he completes the World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme.
