Tom Emery has been named in the England 7’s squad to travel to Toulouse to participate in the France 7’s. The 7’s and 15’s hybrid that is Tom Emery, has been selected to represent England in the latest showcase of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
Interim Head Coach, Alex Rae had this to say on Tom’s international selection;
“Tom has worked incredibly hard to get back fit, so I’m delighted for him. He’s a very popular member of the squad so we’re all really chuffed for him and can’t wait to watch him tear up. Good things happen to good people.”
Tom has been hindered by injury, and has not represented England 7’s since March 2020 in Vancouver. Everyone at Coventry Rugby sends Tom our best wishes for the tournament and we look forward to seeing him do his thing in France.
