Jordon Poole’s rugby career started when he was scouted at the age of 15 playing in a school’s 7s tournament organised by Leeds Carnegie. Poole spent two years playing in their junior development squad whilst also playing for the local team, Yarnbury RFC. In 2014, Poole signed his first professional contract with Leeds Carnegie at the age of 17 years old and also transitioned from playing the backrow to hooker. Poole stayed with the side for three years until he joined semi-professional side Darlington Moweden Park RFC in 2018-19 season. Following one season with the side, Poole moved to Exeter Chiefs where he stayed on for a further three years. Poole joined Coventry on loan during the 2020/21 season following the pandemic. In 2022/23, Poole made his move to Coventry permanent and has been with the team ever since.
