Operations Manager


The role

This position is a key role in the development of next chapter of the long and successful history of Coventry Rugby. As the club joins the Rugby Championship it is essential that the commercial side of the operation is taken to the next level to support the success being enjoyed on the pitch.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for all the non-rugby activities of the club, managing and leading the support team, generating increased income from sponsorship and advertising, food and beverage sales, match day operations and the general management of the stadium.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team, target achievement and driving change whilst achieving commercial targets.

He / she will need to demonstrate a working knowledge of current legislation in terms of Employment, Contract, Health & Safety and Licensing laws. Knowledge of developing food and beverage incomes is also preferable.

An appreciation and understanding of the game of Rugby and Coventry Rugby Club’s heritage is also an advantage but not essential.

Working hours are a minimum of 40 per week as well as match day working is also expected.
