Coventry United return to Isuzu FA Vase action this Saturday with a place in the Fifth Round – and the long road to Wembley – firmly in their sights.

Non-League football’s answer to the FA Cup, the Isuzu FA Vase is a competition steeped in drama, opportunity and unforgettable moments. Not only does it offer a potentially life-changing prize pot for the eventual winners, but for two sets of players each season, it provides the ultimate dream: the chance to walk out at Wembley Stadium, the home of English football.

A Competition Close to United’s Heart

Since making their FA Vase debut in 2015, Coventry United have built a dramatic and proud history in the competition. From emphatic five‑goal victories and famous giant‑killings, to nerve‑shredding finales and injury‑time winners, the Vase has consistently delivered unforgettable days for the Red and Green Army.

Few occasions ignite the spirit of the club and its supporters quite like the FA Vase, and Saturday promises to be another special chapter.

From a Dream to a Force in Non‑League

Formed in 2013 by four friends with a simple ambition – to play football for enjoyment – Coventry United’s rise through the Non‑League pyramid has been nothing short of remarkable. Three promotions in their first year set the tone, and the club has since established itself at Step 5, competing across both the Midland Football League and United Counties League systems.

Under the stewardship of manager Terry Anderson and his assistant Luke Morton, United continue to push forward. The side remain unbeaten at Butts Park Arena since August, with promotion ambitions still very much alive as the season reaches its business end.
