Coventry Rugby is giving the club’s Season Ticket Holders and supporters the following update regarding ticketing for the 2019/20 season.

The club has agreed a new deal with Future Ticketing, who has experience working both with top flight football clubs and rugby clubs including Connacht and Jersey Reds.

The new system is currently being implemented and is expected to be live ahead of the new season.

It will bring Coventry Rugby in line with best practice within sport, such as:

– Barcoded tickets to be scanned on entry. This includes Season Ticket cards, which must be brought to each match

– Online ordering

– Print at Home tickets, and

– Mobile ticketing, meaning that you will be able to order your match tickets on the way to the game and then have your mobile phone scanned at the turnstile – beating the match day queues which have been commonplace at Butts Park Arena over the last couple of seasons

The new system also means that the XL Motors Stand will no longer be unreserved seating for general admission sales for individual matches. Supporters will be able to choose their seat and block ordering online, whether on computer, tablet or mobile.

Season Ticket Holders who have already reserved their seat number(s) do not have to do anything; your reservation is being transferred to the new ticketing system.

Season Cards which have already been paid for are currently being printed; a further announcement will be made when they are ready to be collected from the Ticket Office.

Advance tickets will remain cheaper than booking on the day with the prices the same as last season. However all tickets will be subject to a £1 administration fee.

Full information about the new ticketing system will be available when it is launched.
