Coventry Rugby has announced its squad for the latest fixture of the 2022/23 Championship campaign, against Richmond on Saturday 17th December.

Following last week’s narrow loss on the road to Hartpury, Alex Rae’s men will look to regroup as they welcome Richmond to the BPA, in our final fixture before Christmas.

Jordon Poole captains the XV from hooker, and is joined by Toby Trinder and Ollie Andrews in the front row, whilst the ever-reliable combination of James Tyas and Adam Peters pack down in the engine room.

The back row remains unchanged from last week’s trip to Hartpury, with Tom Dodd, Josh Bainbridge and Senitiki Nayalo all retaining their places.

Will Chudley continues his partnership with the in-form Pat Pellegrini in the half-back pairing, whilst Will Wand will link up with Will Rigg in the centres.

The starting XV is rounded out by an electric back three of James Martin, Will Talbot-Davies and Louis Brown at fullback.

Three front row substitutes will look to add power from the bench in the form of Suva Ma’asi, Danny Southworth and Jake Bridges, whilst Rhys Thomas and Tom Ball conclude the forward replacements.

Will Lane and Evan Mitchell will both be looking to make an impact at scrum-half and fly-half respectively, whilst Louis James will provide cover across the centres and backfield.
