Coventry Rugby has announced its squad for the upcoming fixture against Doncaster Knights on Saturday 25th March.
Following last week’s bumper-home win against Caldy at the BPA, Alex Rae’s side travel up to Castle Park looking to continue their momentum.
The front row bears one change to that of last week, as Arthur Cordwell comes in to start at loosehead, accompanied by Will Biggs and Ollie Andrews at Hooker and tighthead respectively.
The ever-reliable combination of James Tyas and Adam Peters start in the second row, whilst Tom Ball, Josh Bainbridge, and Senitiki Nayalo make up the back row.
Evan Mitchell slots into fly-half this week and will partner Will Chudley at 9, in a halfback combination which blends youth with experience. Chudley will also take on the role of Coventry captain for the first time this weekend.
In the midfield, inside-centre Lucas Titherington finds last week’s hat-trick hero Will Rigg outside him at 13, whilst the matchday XV is rounded out by a back three of James Martin, Will Talbot-Davies, and a return for Louis Brown at fullback.
Three front row replacements will be looking to add some firepower from the bench in the form of Billy Harding, James Kenny and Jake Bridges, whilst George Smith and Rhys Thomas conclude the forward replacements.
Will Lane will be looking to make a similar impact off the bench as he did last week against Caldy, whilst Ollie Betteridge and Will Wand will provide cover across the backline.
