Coventry Rugby has announced its squad for the latest fixture of the 2022/23 Championship campaign, against Doncaster Knights on Saturday 3rd December.
Following the resounding victory against London Scottish a fortnight ago, Alex Rae’s men are back at the BPA as they look to continue their winning momentum.
Toby Trinder captains the side from the front row, and is joined by Suva Ma’asi and Harry Seward, whilst James Tyas continues his partnership with Adam Peters in the engine room.
The back row is unchanged from the win against the Exiles, with Tom Dodd, Josh Bainbridge and Fred Betteridge all retaining their places at 6, 7 and 8 respectively.
Will Chudley links up with Pat Pellegrini in the half-back pairing, whilst Ollie Betteridge is joined by the returning Will Rigg in the centres.
The starting XV is rounded out by a familiar looking back three of James Martin and Will Talbot-Davies on the wings, and Louis Brown at fullback.
One of the highlights of this week has been the return of club-captain Jordon Poole as well as back-rower Senitiki Nayalo from injury, who both make the bench for Saturday’s clash. They are joined by Ollie Andrews, Jake Bridges, and Tom Ball who conclude the forward replacements.
Will Lane will look to add some spark at scrum-half, whilst Lucas Titherington and Louis James will provide cover across the midfield and back three respectively.
