Coventry Rugby has announced its squad for the upcoming fixture against Cornish Pirates on Saturday 11th March.

Following last week’s victory against London Scottish in front of a packed-out BPA, Alex Rae’s side travel down to the Mennaye looking to continue their strong momentum as we approach the tail end of the season.

The front row remains unchanged with Suva Ma’asi starting at hooker, flanked by the power of Toby Trinder and Ollie Andrews.

James Tyas, fresh from signing his contract extension, will pack down next to fellow second-row stalwart Adam Peters in the engine room, whilst Tom Dodd, Josh Bainbridge, and Senitiki Nayalo make up the back row.

In the halfback pairing, Pat Pellegrini returns to the starting lineup following his recovery from injury, and will accompany the ever- reliable Will Chudley.

In the midfield, it’s another start for the Lucas Titherington and Will Rigg combination, whilst the matchday XV is rounded out by an exciting back three of James Martin, Louis James and Will Talbot- Davies at fullback.

Three front row replacements will look to add some steel from the bench, in the form of Will Biggs, James Kenny, and Jake Bridges, whilst George Smith and Rhys Thomas conclude the forward replacements.

Joe Snow and Evan Mitchell will both be looking to make an impact off the bench at 9 and 10 respectively, whilst the versatile Will Wand will provide cover across the rest of the backline.
