Coventry Rugby has announced its squad for the third Championship Cup fixture of the 2022/23 season, against London Scottish on Saturday 19th November.

Following last week’s narrow loss away at Goldington Road, Alex Rae’s 23-man squad will be looking for a first Cup victory of the season, as they return to the BPA.

Captain Toby Trinder is joined in the front row by Suva Ma’asi and Ollie Andrews, whilst James Tyas partners Adam Peters in the second row.

Tom Dodd returns at openside flanker, with Josh Bainbridge (7) and Fred Betteridge (8) filling out the rest of the back row.

Will Chudley teams up with Pat Pellegrini in the half-back pairing, whilst Ollie Betteridge partners Lucas Titherington in an exciting midfield.

The starting XV is rounded out by a familiar looking back three of James Martin (11), Will Talbot-Davies (14) and Louis Brown at fullback.

Will Biggs, Danny Southworth and Harry Seward will be waiting in the wings to bring some additional firepower to the front row, with Rhys Thomas and Tom Ball concluding the forward replacements.

Will Lane and Evan Mitchell will both be looking to make an impact off the bench at scrum-half and fly-half respectively, whilst Louis James will provide cover across the backfield.
