Coventry Rugby return to the Butts Park Arena this Saturday looking to respond positively after last weekend’s narrow and frustrating defeat at Doncaster. With plenty of encouraging elements to build on – including standout performances across the backline and a much improved set-piece – Alex Rae names a settled and confident side for the visit of London Scottish.

The front row remains unchanged, with Toby Trinder, captain Jordon Poole, and Eliot Salt forming the foundation up front. Behind them, Jack Shine and Senitiki Nayalo continue their partnership in the engine room, Nayalo’s physical edge proving invaluable in recent weeks.

In the back row, Dan Green returns to the starting lineup at blindside, joining ever-reliable workhorses Tom Ball and Morgan Strong, with Strong once again wearing the No. 8 shirt and leading Cov’s charge around the park.

The half-back duo sees Sam Maunder and Josh Thomas return to the starting 15. Out wide, Peter Sullivan and Api Bavadra provide pace, power, and finishing threat, while Tom Bacon retains the 15 shirt after a superb Man of the Match display at Castle Park.

In midfield, Morgan Adderly-Jones and Oli Morris combine once more- a pairing that has shown excellent promise and balance in both attack and defence.

Coventry again names a strong and dynamic bench. Front-row cover comes from Murray Davidson, Aristot Benz-Salomon, and Matt Johnson, with Allan Ferrie and Onisivoro Sukani Nayagi providing further power in the pack.

In the backs, Rae turns to Josh Barton, Tommy Mathews, and Ewan Baker- three players capable of injecting tempo, control, and spark as the game unfolds.
