Coventry Rugby return to Butts Park Arena on Friday evening as they host Richmond RFC in Champ Rugby Round 17, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00.
With the league campaign entering a crucial phase, Coventry will be aiming to strengthen their position in the top half of the table as they welcome Richmond to BPA. The Blue & Whites currently sit 5th in the standings on 50 points, while Richmond arrive in 12th place with 27 points, making it another important test under the Friday night lights.
The fixture will also be a landmark occasion for hooker Jordon Poole, who makes his 100th appearance for Coventry Rugby.
Since arriving at Butts Park Arena, Poole has been a consistent and influential presence in the front row, combining set-piece solidity with relentless work rate around the park. Reaching a century of appearances is a significant achievement in the Champ, reflecting both durability and sustained performance, and Poole becomes the latest player to bring up the milestone in Blue & White. Friday night provides a fitting stage to mark the occasion in front of the BPA faithful.
