Ma’asi commits to Cov!

Coventry Rugby is thrilled to announce the re-signing of Suva Ma’asi, ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Ma’asi arrived at Butts Park in 2021, having previously spent time at both Exeter and Cornish Pirates. Since arriving in the West Midlands, Suva has become an integral part of Alex Rae’s squad, winning CTT Player of the Month back in October.

Speaking about his decision to re-sign with the club, Suva said “I’m really happy and fortunate to have re-signed for such a great club, a lot of hard work has gone on in the background here, and this place has a bright future.”

Head Coach Alex Rae is one of many looking forward to seeing Suva’s influence continue to grow at Butts Park; “It’s great news we’ve got Suva with us again next season, he’s a fantastic person and is developing into a really good hooker. We feel he’s only going to continue to grow, so we’re really excited to have him with us.”
