Coventry Rugby is thrilled to announce the re-signing of Lucas Titherington, ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Titherington arrived at Butts Park in the Summer of 2022, having previously spent time at fellow Championship-club Caldy, as well as Northumbria University in the BUCS league. Since making his debut for Cov, the centre has quickly cemented his spot in Alex Rae’s team, putting in many memorable performances in the Blue and White shirt this season.
Speaking about his decision to re-sign with the club, Titherington said, “I’m always incredibly proud to represent this club and I’m already looking forward to next season. I’m delighted to have re-signed for Coventry!”
Head Coach Alex Rae is looking forward to seeing the centre further develop at Butts Park; “Lucas stepped up from national One last year and has done really well. He’s bought into what we’re about and his performances are going from strength to strength and we’ve got no doubt that will only continue. So we’re really excited to see what’s to come.”
Everyone at Coventry Rugby is looking forward to seeing more of Lucas in the Blue and White this season, and beyond!
