Jordon Poole has been crowned CTT Player of the Month for January 2023 following a fiercely contested online vote, in what was the first Player of the Month award of the calendar year . Nominated alongside Poole, was the also excellent Will Wand, Toby Trinder and James Martin.
With the squad sat in 3rd position in the 2022/23 Championship league table, and set to host Bedford Blues in the Cup on Saturday, Poole has been one of many that has set the standard with his consistent performances on the pitch.
“I’m chuffed to have won this accolade after the great month we’ve had as a squad. Competition on and off the field is what’s driving each and everyone of us to do better each week and it’s really starting to show on a match days. Each lad nominated deserved to win it so to come out on top I’m really happy.” – Jordon Poole.
Poole visited the home of the POTM award sponsor, CTT Group, to thank them personally for their continued support that they show toward Coventry Rugby. We looking forward to hosting CTT at another Matchday here at the Butts very soon.
