Coventry Rugby is delighted to announce that high flying winger, James Martin, has extended his stay with the club ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Having joined Coventry back in 2019, Martin broke on to the scene with a sensational score on debut against Cornish Pirates that will live long in the memory of all Cov fans that were in attendance. Since that day, James, or ‘Jimmy’ has gone on to accumulate 17 senior competitive caps in a Coventry shirt, and he can’t wait to start adding to that total:

“I’m delighted to re-sign at this great club. It has so much history in my family and I can’t wait to carry that forward. I really want to see where we can get to as a group and push as close as we can to the top flight as possible.”

Everyone at Coventry Rugby is looking forward to seeing James in Blue and White once more in the coming 2022/23 campaign, and hope that he can continue his development at the Butts Park Arena whilst scoring a few tries along the way.
