Coventry Rugby is delighted to announce the signing of 33-year-old, Will Chudley from Worcester Warriors.

Coventry Head Coach, Alex Rae had this to say on the brand new signing: “It’s fantastic to be able to sign Will for Coventry because first and foremost he’s a terrific person who is only going to come in and enhance our environment. Then from a rugby view point we’ve got a player with over 150 prem appearances who’s going to come in and add to what we’re doing. He’s also going to be fantastic for this young group and the young half backs already at the club, so for us it was a no brainer.”

The highly experienced Chudley joined Warriors ahead of the 2021/22 Gallagher Premiership season from league rivals Bath Rugby.

Before joining Warriors, Chudley had made more than 130 Premiership matches in an illustrious ten-year spell at the top level in England having first been recruited by Newcastle Falcons after he impressed playing for Bedford Blues against Warriors in the Championship.

Chudley then made more than 100 appearances for Exeter Chiefs in six years at Sandy Park and was a key member of the side that won the Premiership for the first time in 2017. He joined Bath in 2018 and had three successful years at The Rec.

“I am very excited to be reunited and work with Alex, James and Anthony. There is loads of great young talent in the Coventry ranks at the moment and hopefully I can help them on their journey – I’m sure they can help me as well. Chatting with Alex and Scays, it is clear they are building something that I want to be part of and that I will enjoy.” – Will Chudley.

Welcome to Coventry, Will.
