Coventry Rugby is delighted to announce the signing of exciting winger Pete Sullivan ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Sullivan (27) arrives at Butts Park Arena with a strong rugby pedigree and a proven track record at both domestic and age-grade international levels. A dynamic finisher with pace and power, Pete adds further firepower to an already talented Coventry backline.
The Irishman began his rugby journey with Greystones RFC before making his mark at St. Andrew’s College, which led to selection for the Irish U19s. His development continued through Lansdowne FC and Ireland U20s, before breaking onto the international stage with the Ireland Sevens team. Sullivan then spent three years in the professional ranks with Connacht Rugby, competing in the United Rugby Championship and EPCR Challenge Cup.
After a stint with Jersey Reds prior to their unfortunate collapse, Pete returned to Lansdowne and has now made the move across the water to join Alex Rae’s Coventry squad.

Speaking about his new challenge, Sullivan said:
“I am really excited to be joining Razor and all the lads at Coventry and look forward to helping the club achieve success in the coming season.”
Head Coach Alex Rae is equally enthusiastic about the addition:
“It’s great to bring Pete to Coventry. He comes with good pedigree and experience. He’s a proven finisher who will add speed and power to our backline. His hunger to still develop and work hard really stood out for me.”
With pre-season in full swing, Sullivan’s addition reinforces our intent to keep pushing standards and strengthen the squad as we build towards a successful campaign.
Welcome to Coventry, Pete!
