Coventry Rugby’s Development Academy face up against old friends Cambridge on Friday evening at Butts Park Arena (Kick-off 7:45).

Ross Stewarts side won convincingly over Bishop’s Stortford last week, coming away with a 42-19 victory at Silver Leys and will be looking to double up on their efforts.

Match entry fee is £5 for adults. Children 16 and under are free.  Season Members and Vice Presidents are free entry.  Parking is £2.Gates open at 6pm. Bar food is available.

The Blue and Whites scored six tries during a dominant performance in their first pre-season outing, Dave Brazier, Tim Bitirim, Kwaku Asiedu and Joe Lane scoring in the first period to give the lads a 28-7 lead at the interval.

Asiedu added his second of the match with an impressive run before Fred Betteridge added the sides sixth to earn a convincing win and Head Coach Stewart will announce his squad on Thursday evening ahead of the tie with the Blood and Sands.

Fans are encouraged to come along and support the lads as they look to secure a second win of pre-season.
