Coventry Rugby can today confirm that Allan Ferrie will be joining the Newcastle Redbulls at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Since joining Coventry at the start of this season, Allan has made 15 appearances and scored 7 tries, proving to be a vital contributor to the team on the pitch. His skill, determination, and professionalism have been greatly appreciated by the coaching staff, teammates, and supporters alike.
Head Coach Alex Rae said:
“We’re obviously sad to lose a quality person and player like Allan, but at the same time we’re delighted that we’ve been able to help him push on to the next level. It shows what a quality rugby programme we have here, and that if someone is prepared to work hard, anything is possible. Allan proves there’s no set route to the top, and we wish him all the success going forward.”
We would like to thank Allan for his contribution to Coventry Rugby so far this season and for the remainder of the campaign, and we wish him every success as he embarks on the next chapter of his career with Newcastle Redbulls.
Coventry Rugby fans will no doubt join us in congratulating Allan on this exciting move, following in the footsteps of other players who have progressed from Coventry to the Prem Rugby.
