The Coventry Rugby Under-23s are heading to Cambridge University this Sunday to play a Light Blues XV at Grange Road.

The squad includes players from the Coventry Rugby Development Academy and a number of talented younger players from clubs in the Coventry and Warwickshire area to play alongside them.

“This will be a good challenge for the lads,” says Academy Manager Ross Stewart. “We have seen all our Development Academy players develop over the first few weeks of the season while they have been training with us and playing with other clubs, but it is important that they represent Coventry on a regular basis as well, which is why we’re looking forward to Sunday’s game.

“It will also be good to see players from other local clubs in action for us as well, especially as we look to develop our links in the city and broader area.”
