Rowland Winter post-match at London Irish

Coventry director of rugby Rowland Winter spoke to BBC C&W’s Alec Blackman after the match:

“We needed to step up in the second half because we didn’t come out the blocks in the first half.

“We were sloppy, slow and lethargic for half-an-hour or so. Injuries didn’t help but we didn’t really get going until 25 or 30 minutes before the end of the game and that’s far too late against a side of Irish’s quality.”
