ONLY two games survived the weather and travel disruptions in round 24. Both were not without interest as they involved three of sides at the wrong end of the league table.

Birmingham Moseley, in seventh place, came out on top in a saw-saw contest at Loughborough Students. The score fluctuated wildly, Moseley coming back from a 13-7 deficit at half-time with two late tries and a last-minute conversion giving them the win. Another two bonus points for Students were enough to move them out of the third relegation place above Hull Ionians Still everything for Students to play for in their attempt to avoid relegation.

Bottom side Fylde, despite a good start to the game, were eventually overwhelmed by an Old Albanian side fighting for their NL1 existence. As OA came more into the game, Fylde found themselves trailing 19-14 at half-time. The second half saw the away side consolidate their lead and gain a crucial try bonus point. The loss leaves Fylde just one more defeat away from confirmed relegation, while OA are still in 15th place but now only seven points from safety.
