jamie_miller.jpgJamie Miller has been picked to play for the Baa Baas for tonight’s game against the Combined Services at Plymouth RFC.

Miller, 21, has been playing for Coventry RFC for over a year and his skills have been recognised by the Barbarians, who have named him as a forward for their squad tonight.

The Barbarians invite players from different clubs to play various teams throughout the season. Players are selected based on their playing ability and conduct both on and off the pitch. It is an opportunity for players to represent their club and enjoy the style of Baa Baas rugby during the game.

Miller comments, “It’s a huge honour to have been picked and I am very proud to be representing Coventry RFC”.

The news was very exciting for everyone at the club, it is always good to know that good players are recognised and appreciated.

Director of Rugby, Phil Maynard states, “Jamie joins a long list of Coventry players to have been chosen before him. It is, as always, an honour for the club as well as the player and we are sure Jamie will represent the club well this evening”.

Everyone associated with the club wishes Jamie the best of luck tonight.

Ends.
