Coventry RFC has a potential new player in its sights! The Club is asking for the help of local businesses to make a signing possible. Aaron Carpenter is Canadian and is looking for work in the local area in order to gain a British visa and allow him to play for the Club. Carpenter is 25 and previously played for Canada as back row/ hooker. He is looking for work as a lab technician in the Coventry area and will be signed by the Club as soon as this happens. One of the Club’s current players is also looking for work to enable him to continue playing. Australian back five forward, Greg Thomas was only recently signed and is showing promise. He is a fully qualified plumber and is able to work in industrial, commercial or household plumbing. Coventry RFC would be extremely grateful for any help you may be able to give as these players are a great benefit to the team. If you have any further questions about either player, please contact Phil Maynard: or 0783 354 1029. Ends. Press enquiries: Lauren Alewood Coventry RFC Limited
