Coventry RFC is all set to have their own stand in the ‘Live and Times Community Tent’ at the Godiva Festival this coming weekend. This year Coventry will host the 11th Godiva Festival, the UK’s biggest and best free family festival on 4th July to the 6th July. This year the Godiva Festival announces their most exciting programme yet with an array of entertainment over the three day event, with Coventry band The Enemy headlining on the Saturday night. Coventry RFC is pleased to have been allocated a space in the ‘Lives and Times Community Tent,’ on both the Saturday and Sunday. The first team players will be there so there will be plenty of opportunities for photos, autographs or to have a quick chat to find out what it’s really like being a professional rugby player! They will be armed with a bucketful of goodies to give away on the day as well. Coventry RFC has been working hard for the last year to raise the profile of the Club within the Coventry Community through a variety of development programmes, including the first team players mentoring young offenders. This is a fantastic opportunity for the Club to get out there and let Coventry know about everything they have been up to behind the scenes over the past year. If you are a Coventry RFC fan or just curious come and find us in the ‘Lives and Times Community Tent,’ situated opposite the Fairground, we’d love to see you. Ends.
