Coventry RFC was one of the first on board to show their full support of the 2008 National Year of Reading, which is a year long initiative to encourage people, young and old, to get reading.

The first team players swapped rugby balls for books in hope of converting others into avid readers.

They have continued their support of the initiative by attending the official launch event.
