Acting Head Coach, Dave Addleton commented upon the signing: “Henno continually shows his commitment to Coventry, both on and off the pitch. He has had a great year and we are all really pleased that he will continue to be part of the team.

Every match he has played this season he has never failed to impress, this alongside his positive attitude, makes him a great asset to Coventry RFC. Henno is a great team player and I look forward to seeing even more of what he has to offer in the 2008/9 season.”

Addleton is not alone in his thoughts of the new contract signing, Chairman of the Club, Andrew Green firmly agrees: “Henno has been a great soldier for Coventry RFC this season. I am delighted that he will be with us, to continue with this, for a further three years.

We have seen Henno develop, from when he initially signed for Coventry four years ago, to the player that he is now. By signing for a further three years Henno is a true example of loyalty and commitment to the Club.

The team has grown together and developed immensely over the course of this year. Like many others, I am eagerly anticipating the start of next season, where I have no doubt we will see them develop and grow further.”

Henno is in high spirits after signing the new contract with the club: “The past four years with Coventry RFC have been great, with this season finally drawing to a close, I am already excited about the prospect of next season.

This new three year contract is a testament of my complete loyalty and commitment to the Club. The Club is moving forward and I am proud to be able to say that I am going to be part of that.

The team has come on so far this season, and I have no doubt that it will continue to do so. We all have aspirations for the Club to go as far as possible and I am going to give 110%, along with the rest of the team, to make sure it reaches its true potential.”

Ends.
