Coventry RFC has announced an open training session for supporters and friends of the club. The 1st XV would like to invite everyone to a training session on Friday 27th July at the Butts. The team know just how important the supporters are at the club and are keen to get to know as many of you as possible.
The Squad receive instructions from Head Coach Murray Henderson The opposed training session will start at 5:30pm on the pitch and fans are more than welcome to come and experience what the players go through at a training session and view just what full contact means. The fans will all then have an opportunity to ‘meet the players’ in the Arena Bar after at 7:00pm. The Bar will be open from 6pm and the players will join everybody for a ‘beer and chat’ after their shower and clean up. Assistant Coach Brett Davey puts players through their paces Tony Gulliver Team Manager commented “I hope the fans realises just how important their support of the team is, this have not changed since the days I use to play at a packed Coundon Road. Good support can help you win games. I know the players receive a big lift if the crowd get right behind them and are keen to meet and encourage as many as possible to become part of the Coventry family. Ends.
