The Coventry Telegraph had an absolutely overwhelming response to their appeal on Saturday, when supporters, players and the OC Colts all teamed up together in the Lower Precinct to raise the awareness of the Coventry Public.

The magnificent amount of £2,046 was raised by kind donations made by shoppers in Lower Precinct. Coventry RFC would like to thank all these people who so kindly donated to the appeal, as well as all the supporters who were there in force to help get the important message across.

Coventry RFC players will be joining their fellow supporters in the Lower Precinct in Coventry this coming Saturday, between 9am and 5pm.

Coventry supporters have volunteered to give up their Saturday in a bid to help raise money and awareness for the Coventry Telegraph’s Appeal. A selection of the first team players will make an appearance to sign autographs and provide photo opportunities to show their true appreciation of all those who have so kindly supported the appeal.

Following a series of meetings, the Rugby Football Union has given Coventry RFC Ltd a further 14 days to fulfil the conditions required to play in National League One next season.
