John Coates and Andy Farrington

Very sadly the Club has learnt of the deaths of John Coates,  Secretary of the Former Players Association and Andy Farrington, former hooker for Coventry.

To families and friends, everyone connected with the club sends their sincerest condolences. Funeral arrangements are detailed here.

COVENTRY RFC HOST REMEMBRANCE MATCH

Following the success of last year’s event, Coventry RFC is again proud to be supporting the Royal British Legion by holding a Remembrance Match for their fixture against London Welsh this Friday, 6th November.

Phil Maynard has now announced his team to face the longstanding opponents.

Coventry’s Standard Bearers will parade before introducing a minute silence prior to the match and in honour of the cause, Coventry have invited military representatives from all armed services in the area as a way of showing their appreciation for the service they provide.

FIREWORKS 09!

It’s that time of year again and on Saturday 7th November Coventry Rugby Club will be hosting their spectacular annual fireworks event at Butts Park Arena!

Advance price tickets are available until 5pm on Friday 6th Nov.

In association with Touch Radio, Coventry Rugby Club’s, Butts Park Arena will be delivering the greatest fireworks display in Coventry for the 10th year running!

Coventry v London Welsh K/O 7.45

Coventry RFC is proud to be supporting the Royal British Legion and will be welcoming Coventry’s standard bearers before the game to introduce a minute silence.

The Old Deer Park side have had to endure their own troubled summer, going into administration, with the RFU deducting 5 points for late advice.
