Darren Dawidiuk was born in Truro and began his career with Greene King IPA Championship side Cornish Pirates, making 45 appearances over three seasons.

The hooker then joined Gloucester Rugby in 2009, where he went on to make 138 appearances for the Cherry and White’s before joining London Irish in 2017.

Darren is a hardworking, powerful front-row with a pinpoint throw to suit any set piece, the former Cherry and White enjoyed his glory days at Kingsholm and will hope to begin a new chapter in his career with Coventry at Butts Park Arena.

What are you most looking forward to at Coventry: Playing Rugby, making new friends, helping the younger lads in the team.

Tell me something interesting about yourself: My first start for Cornish Pirates was against Coventry, this would have been 12 seasons ago now.

 If you weren’t playing rugby, what would you be doing: Personal Training, travelling, living in Cornwall
